Fullwiped AlphaLoot Important Update – Read Before Updating!
If you are satisfied with the loot from crate_normal_2 (roadside loot crates) in your current loot tables, there is no need to update. However, if you want a more competitive and balanced loot system where key components are harder to obtain, increasing player competition, you may want to update.
How to Update
To apply the update:
Replace the fullwipedmain.json file located in: \data\AlphaLoot\LootProfiles
- Restart the AlphaLoot plugin:
If you are using Oxide, run:
o.reload AlphaLoot
If you are using Carbon, run:
c.reload AlphaLoot
What’s Changed?
- Fixed Component Drops
The number of components in crate_normal_2 is now adjusted to match the server’s gather rate.
Example: In a 2x config, each crate will drop 2 pipes; in a 5x config, it will drop 5 gears, etc.
- Increased Component Variety
More types of components now spawn in crate_normal_2, including:
Tarp, propane tank, rope, sewing kit.
- New Game Update Items Added
The latest Rust update introduced new items, which have now been added to crate_normal_2:
- Chicken coop & eggs.
- Bee grenade & beehive.
- Triangle planter & single plant.
- Lowered Overall Component Availability
crate_normal_2 now contains fewer total components, making items like gears, pipes, springs, signs, and bodies less common.
Instead of random, excessive drops, crates now provide a fixed and predictable amount of components, making looting more competitive and strategic.
Why This Update?
This change aims to increase competition by limiting component availability, ensuring that players must work harder to gather essential materials. The updated loot table reduces randomness and guarantees consistent but lower amounts of components, making them more valuable and fostering a more balanced in-game economy.
Update only if you want a more competitive and structured loot system where components are harder to obtain.
